Achievement

Prof. Peh is a MBBS graduate from University of Malaya in 1978 and obtained her Master in Pathology from the same university in 1982. She became a Member of the Royal College of Pathologist, UK in1986 and was then promoted to fellowship in 1995. In 2001, she was conferred as a Fellow from the Royal College of Pathologist of Australasia, Australia and obtained a PhD from University of Groningen, Netherlands.

Prof. Peh also obtained her Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in 2003 from University of Leicester, UK. Prior to her appointment with Pantai Premier Pathology, Prof. Peh was a Professor of Pathology cum Senior Consultant at the Department of Pathology, UMMC and also an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Pathology, Peking University in Beijing, China.

Prof. Peh postgraduate career includes:

  • Lecturer cum Clinical Specialist in Department of Pathology, UMMC.
  • Associate Professor cum Consultant Pathologist, UMMC.
  • Professor cum Head of Department, Department of Pathology, UMMC.

Prof. Peh is very active in research and had been awarded many research grants from numerous bodies including universities and the Ministry of Science, Technology & innovation Malaysia. She has a special interest in lymphoma pathology and has published numerous referred journals and also as a contributor to World Health Organization (WHO) reference book on “Classification on Tumors of Haematopoietic and Lymphoid Tissue” and also speaks in national, international scientific meetings and medical centers related to this topic.
